The Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis) can be found in various shades of green or brown. The females can be easily identified by a white dorsal stripe running from the rear of their head down to the base of their tail. The Green Anole is an arboreal species and can be found in their natural habitat above ground in tree canopies. Make sure you add lots of plants and branches to their enclosure. Like many other lizards, they can change colour depending on their mood and temperature.
