Leopard Gecko Bedding

The new HabiStat Leopard Gecko blend replicates the unique, dry, mountainous woodlands that leopard geckos call home, now better than ever. 

Leopard geckos are found across a wide range of terrain and habitats in the wild, however they all seek out similar microclimates. This blend is designed to support and create those exact realistic microclimates found in their native ranges, in your home. 

This new formula is an expertly crafted mix of sand, clay and soils, designed to promote the natural behaviours our animals would exhibit in the wild like burrowing, and allow a secure base for gripping, essential for leopard geckos as they lack adhesive toe pads.  

Our new substrates are now packed pre-hydrated, which helps ensure a humidity boost every time you change the substrate. Leopard geckos require humid retreats, so having areas in the enclosure with different moisture content is a great way for your animal to be able to explore different choices. 

HabiStat’s Leopard Gecko blend is ready to use straight from the bag, which is ideal for creating a naturalistic, enriching habitat. Our range of Habistat substrate bags can be recycled at local supermarkets.  

Directions for Use: 

Spread substrate evenly across vivarium base ensuring a depth of 2-3″” (5-7.5cm). Do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Spot clean daily, change or refresh every 12 months.
