HabiStat Lignocel is a soft, dust-free substrate designed for Snakes, especially Colubrids, like corn snakes, hognoses and king snakes.

Its lightweight texture allows for easy tunnelling whist giving keepers the confidence their snake cannot become trapped. This substrate encourages natural behaviours like burrowing and digging, which provides excellent daily enrichment. The soft fibres are gentle around the animal’s skin and eyes, helping to create a comfortable and secure enclosure.

Highly absorbent and easy to spot-clean, HabiStat Lignocel is a practical and hygienic substrate choice for your snake.

Directions for Use:

Spread the substrate evenly across the enclosure base, ensuring a depth of at least 2–3 inches (5–7.5 cm). Do not overfill the enclosure when using underfloor heating. Spot clean daily and replace or refresh the substrate every 6-12 months.
