The Giant African Land Snail (Achatina fulica) is a species of large land snail that belongs in the Achatinidae family. Like their name suggests, Giant African Land Snails are terrestrial species living on the forest floor amongst the debris and leaf litter. In captivity, provide good moist substrate and leaf-litter in their enclosure. This species is considered a pest in many countries and internationally is the most invasive species of snail.
