Litière pour araignées

The HabiStat Spider blend has been designed with invertebrates in mind, from tarantulas or scorpions to millipedes or stick insects. This blend is also great for burrowing invertebrates such as beetles or roaches. 

It is a blended mix of bespoke, natural, coir free, organic soils designed to increase invertebrate’s natural behaviours. This substrate is extremely absorbent, non-toxic and non-abrasive. 

In the wild, spiders will manipulate their environment to form caves, burrows and tunnels to create a stable, stress- free environment. This substrate contains breathable material that helps maintain tunnel stability and reduces the risk of collapse, this gives you the confidence your spider can burrow safely and securely. 

The HabiStat substrate range now comes pre-hydrated, which temporarily increases the humidity in the habitat after it’s added. This supports healthy humidity levels and encourages safe moulting.  

HabiStat’s Spider blend is ready to use straight from the bag, which is ideal for creating a naturalistic, enriching habitat. Our range of HabiStat substrate bags can be recycled at local supermarkets.  

Mode d'emploi : 

Spread substrate evenly across the vivarium base ensuring a depth of at least 2-3” (5-7.5cm). Do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Spot clean daily, change or refresh every 12 months.
