Crested Gecko Bedding

The HabiStat Crested Gecko blend has been formulated with a bespoke blend of organic soils to replicate the soft underlayer of the rainforest, such as those found in New Caledonia, where this species is endemic.  

This unique blend comes pre-hydrated, to already start increasing the humidity as soon as its added. For species such as crested geckos, keeping this soil hydrated will help with overall air humidity.  

This blend allows for great moisture retention, this helps to slowly release humidity throughout the day, mirroring the natural processes which occur in the wild. This blend creates vital microclimates for microfauna and flora to thrive, allowing a complete bioactive system in your habitat.   

Ready to use straight from the bag, HabiStat’s Crested Gecko blend is ideal for creating a natural and bioactive setup for crested geckos. Our range of HabiStat substrate bags can be recycled at local supermarkets.  

Instrucciones de uso: 

Spread substrate evenly across the vivarium base ensuring a depth of at least 2-3” (5-7.5cm). Do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Spot clean daily, change or refresh every 12 months.
